HOROWHENUA COUNTY COUNCIL. NOTICE OF INTENTION TO STRIKE RATES. QCBLIC NOTICE is hereby given in r accordance with the provisions of Section 50 of the ‘‘Rating Act, 1908,” and also of Section 120 of ‘‘The Counties Act, 1920,” that it is the intention of the Horowhenua County Council, at a meeting to be held on Saturday, 10th June, 1922, to strike the General and Separate Rates in the respective ridings of the Horowhenua County, for the period from the Ist April, 1922, to the 31st March, 1923, viz.:— In the Tokomam riding, a General Rate of Jd in the £1; in the Wirokino riding a General Rate of Id in the £1; in the Otaki riding a General Rate of Id in the £1; in the Te Horo riding a General Rate of id in the £1; and in terms of the. ‘‘Water Supply Act, 1908,” and the ‘‘Rating Act, 1908,” a Separate Rate of id in the“£l m the Horowhenua Water Race District; a Separate Rate of id in the £1 in the Haute re Water Race District — all upon the Capital Value of all rateable properties in the respective Ridings and Water Race Districts aforesaid, the same to become due and payable in one instalment on the first day of July, 1922.
