A spell of over two months has benefited the full-brother to Master Strowan considerably. It was a stroke of bad luck for the New Plymouth trainer, Percy Johnston, to meet with a mishap on the eve of the Avondale meeting, at which four members of his team were engaged, including Income and Paddington Green. It is understood that the leg is not actually broken, but that a bone is misplaced. It will, however, be three or four weeks before he will *be able to leave hospital.
