Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., leport that at their stock sale at Waikanae on Wednesday last they offered a good yarding of sheep to a big attendance of buyers. Competition was animated, and a total clearance was effected at satisfactory prices. Quotations: Fat wethers 20/, forward wethers 18/3 to 18/6, forward ewes 12/9 to 14/, ewes in lamb 15/, woolly lambs 11/7 to 14/, cull' lambs 5/4, cull rams 5/.
