OBITUARY.

MRS M. MOYNIHAN. The sad news came through on Saturday, evening of the sudden death of Mrs Moynihan, who left Shannon during the week, apparently in good health and spirits, to visit an old friend in Christchurch. Mrs Moynihan)- together .with -her sister, Mrs Kersey, who still resides in Shannon, came from their native town, Youghal County Cork, Ireland, some 30 odd/ years ago, and settled in Invercargill. Three years Rater they came, to Shannon where they have resided ever since. In Shannon Mrs Moynihan will be missed by her very many friends. She was well known for her kindness and sympathy with those in need, of whom she was ever thoughtful. She leaves her husband, Mr Michael Moynihan, * and a grown-up family to mourn her loss.
