TOKOMARU NOTES.

Tokomaru has been having its share ol good things lately. The pictures, under the management, have been giving satisfaction with the variation of the programme.
On Saturday, February 4, the Presbyterian Sunday School held their annual picnic in Mr Wilton’s paddock near the river, and the folks, young and old, had a very enjoyable time. The safne evening- a performance was given in the hall by the Dandy Dixie Troup. They were .well • received and had a very good house. Their programme w ? as the best that has been here for a long time, and those who were not at it missed a treat. It is with regret we have to announce the death of a much respected lady, Mrs Waghorn sen., rvlio has resided here lor some years. The Church of England Sunday School intend holding their annual picnic next Saturday, the 18th, by the riverside.
