BUCK JONES—SATURDAY.

Jock disappears, and later turns up in Northwestern Canada, where he soon becomes a member cff the Mounted Police. The lawlessness of the early days in that section of the country, the experiences and indomitable courage ol' the Mounted Police, and the unusual development of an odd love rffair constitute excellent material for a most alluring drama.

A screen version of the famous play, “Bridge,” under the title of “Social Hypocrites,” will be submitted on Monday night. The story is as follows: Upon the death of her father, who has ben accused of cheating a t cards, Lebnora Fielding is cared for by Lady Mountstephen. Later, Lady Mountstephen tires of Leonora and refuses to pay her extravagant bills. Lord Royle, who fias been attentive to lier.jpays the bill's. . She afterwards learns that he is married to Lady, Norton. Leonora desiring to repay Lord Royle, determines to win the necessary money at cards. Lady Norton having learned that her husband paid Leonora’s bills, determines to be revenged, and after substituing duplicate marked cards, accuses Leonora of being a cheat. Leonora, is ordered to leave. A friend whose love she has not reciprocated, Dr. Sampson, comes to her re'scde, and announces he is going to marry her. A handbag which Leonora picks up in error, results tn her .establishing her innocence, and her father's memory is cleared by the dying words of the Earl of St. Albans.
