Standard IT—First prize, Hendrick Curisiensen. Alter the prizes had ben distributed the headmaster, Mr Taylor, expressed his great appreciation oi the interest shown in the highest welfare of the pupils by the Rev. Mr Stewart, who has conducted a most successful Bible Class at the school for some {line, and Miss Annie Smith presented him with. a silver-mounted ink-stand- on behalf of the children . In responding, Mr Stewart said that his work had been a labour of love, and only his duty as a minister of the Gospel. An exceedingly enjoyablay&ftemoon was brought to a. close with the singing of the National Anthem.
