M Tuesday morning last David xxioud porter appeared at the Sh&ntx police court, oeiore Messrs. Murcn, opencer and Taylor, J.P.’s, on a urge oi being urunk and disorderly, d using ohscene language m Bailee street. Accused was defenueu and,- pleaded not guilty. Constable McGregor stated tha irter called at the police station on :ee occasions complaining oi taxi i’vers not using the correct stand, d asking that they he removed, ltness immediately went to mvestite on the first occasion of defendant 11 mg, hut iound no taxis there. On s second visit defendant was drunk d made use of bad language. H 6 is advised to leave the station and go ime. Outside the gate he continued use bad language and was then rested, the time being 8 p.m. Constable Shannon stated that he w defendant a few minutes atterards, and also three and a-hali mrs later, and he was drunk on both casioiis.
