DANCING CRITICS.
(To the Editor.)
Sir,—With reference to a letter in your last edition signed “Legs Eleven,” some people seem unable to rush into print without being rude. Apparently “L.E.” is aware of this, as, like “Twelfth Man,” be is afraid of signing his own name. It will, probably interest “L.E.” to know that I was in the Army before the war broke out, and would be in it now, If it wasn’t for the fact that I have a false thigh, owing to a bullet wound. Also, I have full qualification to put my trade as Engineer, as I am a fully qualified motor engineer. If there is any more information he requires he ■can have it on application. One would imagine his letter represents the views of the dancing folk in Shannon. It may interest him to know he is far from right. I would suggest he go to Wellington for a dance at the Cabaret; perhaps he will then inform, us what he danced. There are always the right and wrong ways of doing things, and I should imagine he has seen the wrong. If it is a case of sticking to the old dances .then why are we not dancing the Cotillion, etc., which are really pretty and graceful? I am, etc., H.G.L.W.
