LEVIN FLOWER SHOW.
DATE ALTERED TO FIT IN WITH VICE-REGAL VISIT. A meeting of the General Committee of the Levin Horticultural Society was held on Saturday evening, tlic Rev. W. F. Grove, president, occupying dhe chair, and here being a large attendance. It was decided to alter the date ci "the Summer Show to Monday, Nov ember 28 (two weeks from to-day), and to invite his Excellency the Gov ernor-General to open the Show on the occasion of his official visit to Levin. Ways and means of preparing the ball for the show were discussed, anti various arrangements made. .Ridges were selected and stewards appointed. The co-operation of exhibitors and supporters of the Show is specially asked for in order to make the dis play worthy of the occasion. Members’ tickets are now available, and may be obtained nt the Chronicle office.
