KOPUTAROA SUNDAY SCHOOL CONCERT.
(Frim Our Own Correspondent,.) The annual concert was held in the schoolroom last evening, when thb seating accommodation vv;as taxed to the utmost. ' The Rev. M. Bawden Harris, who occupied the chair at the commencement, expressed pleasure at seeing such a large audience present, wliicn showed the parents recognised the good work, being done by the teachers, Mrs Forsyth and Mr Lang, who had worked hard to make the .concert a success, arid the junior teachers, who gave such able assistance. , At>. a later stage Major Macaulay occupied the chair, and at the conclusion thanked all those present for the interest taken. Cheers were given by the audience for the teachers and those who contributed items, and the singing of.the Doxology brought an enjoyable evening to a close. Supper was provided by the ladies, and as a result of the entertainment the prize fund will be considerably augmented. Following are the items contributed: Pianoforte solo, Miss M. White; duet, Captain Jacobs and Lieut. Mathews; recitation, Una Boyle; pianoforte duet, the Misses Forsyth; song, Miss Newman; recitation, Master H. Walton; song, Masters J. Graham, H. Gay, I. Smith, J. White; Miss J. White; duet, Mr and Mrs W. Kilsby; recitation, Miss P. Sporle; pianoforte solo, Miss B. Rose; recitation, Mr Stratton; song, Miss Burt; recitation, Miss 11a Walton; pianoforte solo, Miss Betty Spencer; recitation, Master Alick Ward; song, Mrs W. Kilsby; song, Misses V. Rountree and Sarah Gilmour; song, Miss Mavis Garrard; song, Miss Forsyth and L. Rankin; song, senior girls.
