Butler, handpainted table-centre; human weight (gentleman), Mrs Healy, pouffe; station name guessing, Mrs Bullard, black satin cushion; candle lighting, Mr Byers, Jumbo; cake weigllt No. 2, Mrs .Brown; doll's number, Joyce weigh camisole and box. Mrs Hayes; bun eating for boys, Basil Coakley,, box of sweets; nail driving, Mr Hennessey, lainb. Other competitions had been advertised, but it was advisable to omit them on account of the rough weather having del terred so many trow paing present.
