AT MUHUNOA PAH. . Two of'the typhoid cases at trio hospital at Muhunoa pah are 01 a serious nature, and it is impossible to say at present what developments may he expected. So far no fresh cases have been reported, so it may be taken for granted that the health officials have the situation in hand. The two Poroutawhao patients are reported to be progressing favourably ,at the Palmerston North hoslital, where they were removed on Saturday. Those from Muhunoa are also making good progress. An endeavour is being made to secure progress reports being sent to Levin each day from Muhunoa. The matter has been referred to the health officials, but no reply has yet been received.

The police found it necessary on Saturday to send back lufoie several natives from the infected areas at Muhunoa and Poroutihwhao, in accordance with the isolation regulation.
