Anderson) drew ihe emiuipil’s attention to the Shannon rubbish tip uii the uiain county road, “i injected -.the tip,” the engineer stated, “and found it very had.” The Chairman (Cr. Her he-, lieved notice had been seyved on the . Shannon Borough to abdte the nut-' sauce. Cr. Broadbelt considered that rubbish should pot be tipped alongside a main road. '• The Engineer: The tip is actually on bur road. When I inspected the tip a most objectionable smell was arising fro mit, and there were a gdod few rats about. , On the chairman’s motion the Engineer was authorised to take steps to cease the 'nuisance arising from the tip. '
