ROUND THE WORLD WITH THE PRINCE.

AT THE MAORILAND THEATRE TO-NIGHT.

Shannon and Tokomaru will have an opportunity this week oi seeing the famous picture “50,000 Miles with the Prince,” which is.being shown throughout the Empire at the express command of the King. Attention is directed to the cable from the Prince v-appearing on page 1 to-day, in which he commends the picture to the public. It is full of interest. There are such thrills as the huge; cheering multitudes surging round the Prince, to get a hand-shake or even a glimpse; of their future King; the Prince and his car ploughing through thousands of admirers of all classes and creeds; the gigantic battleship making the sensational passage • through the world-famous! Panama Canal; arid defying the fierce Australian Bight and tearing through the mountainous §eas. X liere is such comedy as the uproariously funny ceremony of the Prince “crossing the Line”—he is shaved with a wooden razor and ducked in the big tank, and the screamingly lunny burlesque of the Renown’s officers of the great Maori haka~ at Rotorua. There are also touching pathos and fine scenery.
