John Hamilton was charged'’on the information of John Laughton, attendance inspector, with failing to send his child to school. > The inspector said there were two eharges against the. defendant, and witness described the case as a bad one. Sporle, i partly heard, last- court- day, was called, Mr Blenkhorn, for plaintiff; asked that the case he struck out, as it was i not intended to go on. Counsel said the agreement referred to at the pre- ; vious sitting had been found in his , (counsel’s) office. Mr Adams asked for costs for defendant, and his Worship granted a nonsuit, with costs to defendant amounting to £5 0s 3d.. AFFILIATION CASE. His Worship gave judgment- in an affiliation case, in which Fitzgerald : Bell was adjudged the putative father of the child concerned, and ordered to pay expenses totalling £lB 17s and 12s 6d per week for the maintenance of the child. . .
