OBITUARY.
MR HENRY LOGAN.
The announcement of the death of Mr Henry Logan, which appears in this issue, will be read with regret by his many Shannon friends. Mr Logan was a native of Belfast, Ireland, and resided in Shannon for fifteen years, following his occupation as a ropemaker, in which industry he was recognised as befng one of the best men in the Dominion. He took an active part in the local debating society and the W.E.A., and having a keen sense of humour and a pleasam smile, was one whom it was a pleasure to meet. About fifteen months ago he sold his town property in Shannon and bought a farm at Kopaki, where with his wife and family he resided until his death. The cause 01 death was heart failure following an attack of pneumonia. Much sympathy is felt for the wife and young family whom he leaves to mourn his loss.
