The Horowhenua fixtures, both senior and junior, resume to-mor-row. The Shannon seniors meet the Wanderers at Levin. The junior game, Foxton v. Weraroa, to be played at Weraroa, should be a great game, and will practically be the deciding match among the Northern juniors. No junior rep. fixtures have been arranged yet. Junior matches should be about due, and the selector should; be sorting out a team). The combined llorowhenua-Mana-watu team did surprisingly well against the. Springboks, and with luck would have made a draw', if not actually beaten the Africans. The combined forward line performed particularly well, and the fact that the Horowhenua men distinguished themselves will give every satisfaction to local enthusiasts.
