- /jDOO acres reserved on TARARUAS. By . a notice appearing in Saturday’s Gazette, an area comprising approximately 4000 acres of Crown lands has been reserved as a State forest. The area and blocks are set out in the notice as follows: All that area in the Wellington Land District being pari of Lots 4 and 5, O.P. 741, part of Mana-watu-Kukutauahi 2e and No. 3 Blocks, •ituated in Block IV., Waiopehu Survey District, containing an admeasurement 1681 acres, more or less. All that area in the'Wellington Land District, being part Muhunoa No. 2 Block, situated in Block XI., Waiopehu Survey District, containing by admeasurement .1600 acres, more or less. All that area in the Wellington Land District, being Section 11, part of ManawatuKukutauahi 2a 1,2 a 2*, and 2b 2 Blocks, situated in Block X., Arawaru Survey District, containing by admeasurement 544 acres, more or less. The land in question is situated on the Tararuas, commencing at the rear of Shannon, and extending northward beyond Tokomaru, all this being portion of the Waiopehu Survey District. The section in the Arawaru Survey District lies still further'to the north.
