“Justice.”—No doubt your letter does “justice to the occasion,” but we should require a legal indemnity of anything up tq £2OOO against an action for libel if we took the responsibility qf publishing your comments. The privilege of writing anonymously to the press is useful in drawing attention to abuses, but it must not go beyond that. In the case referred to the proper course is to have tip facts ventilated before the# body ‘having authority in the matter, when their truth or otherwise can be ascertained and the complaint dealt with in a constitutional manner.
