TENNIS CLUB BALL.
A BRILLIANT FUNCTION. As was anticipated, the Tennis Club’s ball proved to be one of the events of the season. The hall, with its beautiful decorations and the many pretty dresses of the ladies, presented a sight which has seldom been excelled in Shannon. Mrs Butler’s orchestra .was at its best, and the, splendid music, combined with a glass-like floor, made dancing a pleasure. The committee spared no effort to make the evening an enjoyable one, and the ball will be a pleasant memory to many for some time to come. Miss I. Pink, Mrs T. Davey, Miss McGrath and Miss McDenell played extras which were greatly appreciated. Butler, green; MTks Terry, blue; Miss Curran, pink; Miss Cole, blue; Miss Jones, black; Mrs G.
