An amusing story concerning a new hedged motorist is told by the Thames Star. The motorist had taken the precaution of having a garage with doors at either end. Until he had acquired some skill as a driver both doors were left open so that when he entered the garage, if he did not stop lit the right spot no damage was done. Having become more confident the ,driver on Friday attempted to enter the garage with the doors at the far end elo-A;!, but. misjudging something, the car carried away the doors and a portion of the building. Those riding in tlie cat at the time fortunately escaped injury
