The to ta l quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 3,284,000 quarters, and for the Continent 712,000
quarters. Bank of Kew Zealand shares, new issue, £B. The money market is declining owing to a plentiful supply in the open market. Three months’ bills are discounted at If per cent. Dunedin lamb, ex Elderslie, is selling •it 6sd per lb, and Melbourne lamb by the same vessel at 4d. The'wool market is firm.
