Bra,—Shooting has commenced, m ostial, at Makikibi, a month before the gaxettod time. Can you inform the law-abiding residents here if the society for the preservation of native and other game grants any special permits. If so I should very much like to get one, if only to spoil some of the sport (slaughter) of these pet ehots. I am, etc.,
