AUCKLAND, Feb. 27.
The Bum of £SOO was sent to Queensland te-day for the relief fund, making £I6OO subscribed in Auckland. There is still £SO in the bank. The Hats are now to be called in and the subscriptions closed.
NAPIER, Feb. 27.
The collection at the Cathedral yesterday in aid of the Queensland fund realieed over £33. The Working Men’s Club have donated £65.
WELLINGTON, Feb. 27. The Evening Post's subscriptions amount to £SOO, and the Ofty Council's to £l9O.
CHRISTCHURCH, Fee. 27.
The cash subscriptions towards the Queensland relief fund now amounts to £668. An aquatic carnival in aid of the fund is to be held at Lyttelton on March 16fch. Further large donations of produce have been made.
DUNEDIN, Fhb.27.
The Dunedin list for the Queensland flood relief fund is now over £4OO, independent of a number of large contributions sent direct by several Arms. None of the lists from canvassers are yet to band.
The Waitnate Volunteer Brass Band played some nice selections in Victoria Park on Sunday, in aid of the Queensland relief fund. There was not a very large attendance, as the weather was rather cold and stormy. The sum of £4 was collected.
