Tbe Timaru Rifles fired on Tuesday last fora trophy presented by Messrs Hallenstein Bros. The conditions of the match were 5 shots at 500 yards and 600 yards. Tbe winner was Sergeant Cross, who put tbe splendid score of 37 on the target, which is capital shooting for those ranges. Appended are tbe scores: — 500 600
