(By Telegraph.) Ministers on Tour. NEW PLYMOUTH, Fbb. 14. The Hon. Mr Beddon arrived last night from the South and Mr Cadman this morning from Auckland. Mr Seddon has mot several deputations. He vhited the gaol this morning, also the harbour works with Mr Hales, Chief Engineer. He meets this afternoon a joint deputation of members of the Harbour Board, Borough Council and Chamber of Commerce, to discuss matters connected with the interests of the district. Gorge murder case. His Honour stated the course taken was justifiable, ns it was evident from the depositions that no jury could have convicted the accused. It was very much to be regretted that no evidence was forthcoming to bring to justice the perpetrator of such an atrocious crime. Lucy Poole, for forgery, was ordered to come up for judgment when called upon. Roderick Charles Clarke got three years for embezzling funds of the Southland Times Michaelfehcehy,for louse breaking, got four months.
