IMPERIAL PENNY POSTAGE. Mr Henniker Heaton has arranged for a deputation, numbering one hundred, to wait on the Postmaster-General to urge the adoption of the Imperial penny post. He offers to visit the colonies, and obtain their assent. He denies that they are not inclined to agree. The Times says that Mr Arnold Morley is mistaken in believing that the adoption of the penny post is debarred by the provisions of the Postal Convention. THE SHERMAN SILVER ACT. Washington, Feb 12. Mr Cleveland is in favour of a special session of Congress to repeal the Sherman Silver Act.
