IMPERIAL PARLIAMENT.
(Per Electric Telegraph—Copseight.) [Fob Passe Association.] (Received 1,25 a.m., February 9th.) London, Feb 8. In the House of Commons Mr Wharton’s amendment to the Addresa-in-Reply expressing regret at the slight reference contained in the Speech from the Throne to depression in agricultural pursuits, was rejected by a majority of 40, The Parnellites abstained from voting. Me Kier Hardie’s amendment regretting the absence from the Speech of reference to the industrial depression and the necessity for legislation in the Interests of the unemployed was rejected by 276 to 105), Government making it a vote of censure. The Labour members opposed the amendment. There is a disposition ,in the House to conclude the debate on -the Address-in-Reply on Friday, thus permitting the introduction of the Home Rule Bill on Monday.
