GERALDINE RaCING CLUB.

A meeting of the Club was hold at the Crown Hotel, Geraldine, on Thusday evening, Mr E, H. Pearpoint in the Chair. The question of holding future race meetings on the now course.at Orari was discussed very warmly. It was moved by Mr R. Taylor—“ That this meeting, in the interests of the general public, consider it advisable that the next annual race meeting take place on the old course." It was proposed as an amendment by Mr Meiklo—“That the course as at present used be retained for race meetings in the future.” The motion was declared lost and the amendment carried.

AUCKLAND RACES. [By Telegeaph.J Auckland, Nov. 23.
