Mails dose at the Chief Post Office Timaru, for the following places {subject to the necessary alterations! as under: — Thun-day, Deo. 28, For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Wairarapa, at 6 a.m. Saturday, Deo. 30. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Wanaka, at 2.50 P.m. For the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, the Continent of Europe, America, Africa, the Sandwich Islands, and Mediterranean Ports, as follows ; Money orders, registered letters and newspapers at 1.80 p.m. Ordinary letters at 2 30 p.m. , Late fee letters at the Chief Post-office till 2.50 p.m., and at the Railway Travelling Post-office Mail Van (Northern Express Train; till 317 p.m. the s.s.
