A report is current here to day that the trial of Arabi and other rebels will be entirely dropped, and that the preparations which have been in progress for some time past are at a standstill. Baker Pasha not Recognised* The Egyptian Government has received , a communication from the British Ambassador stating that the English Government decline to recognise Baker Pasha as Commander-in-Ohief of the Egyptian army. •; Exile; ■' : London, Nov. 30,1.8 p.m. It is believed that a sentence of exile against Arabi is imminent. ■ The Archbishop! Archbishop Tait is in a state of coma. The Lion at Madagascar. '' . A gunboat has been sent to Madagascar to protect British interests and to enquire into the French demands.
