THIS DAY. [Received Dee. 2, 1882, 12.45 p.tn..) Commercial. London, Not. 30. Consols are at (sic ? ex div). The Bank rate of discount remains at 5 per cent, and the market rate at 3$ per cent. The total reserve in notes and bullion in the Bank of England is £11,090,000, being half a million more than las week. The proportion of the reserve to the liabilities is 42 per cent. New Zealand securities are without quotable change. Colonial breadstuffs are unchanged. Adelaide wheat ex warehouse is quoted at 49s fid, New Zealand do, 44s to 475, Adelaide flour, ex warehouse, is 345. Off coast cargoes of New Zealand wheat are quoted at 42s fid. Australian tallow—best beef, 425, best mutton, 44s fid.
