The juryman, Field, who was stabbed in Dublin, lies in a precarious state. The confermenfof a baronetcy on Mr W. J. Clarke, of Victoria, is thought by the “London Telegraph ” to indicate coming federation of the Empire. The new Bishop of Adelaide is Rev. G. W. Kinnon. His consecration was performed in Westminster Abbey by the Bishop of London (acting for the Primate). A number of Bishops assisted.
