Fire in DunedinDunedin, Nov. 29. A fire early this morning destroyed an old wooden building in Stafford street, known as Cobb’s stables, and adjoining tne premises used by Hanran ~and Co. for bottling purposes. The fire is supposed to have been‘accidental. The insurances ascertainable are : —ln the Scottish Imperial, £4OO ; South British, £750; Phoenix, £2OO ; Association, £250 ; United, £3OO ; London and Lancashire, £l5O ; Norwich Union, £100; Union, £420. Launch of the Waihora, The Union Steam Shipping Company have received a cable message informing them of the launch of the Waihora at Glasgow. She sails on January 13.
