(Pek Pbkss Association.) A Compromise Effected. Dunedin, Nov. 27. A further meeting of Singers creditors was held to-day when it was agreed to
accept a compromise of eight shillings in the pound,half to be paid to cash and the balance in four months. The proved debts amount to upwards of £IO,OOO.
Lady Emma ScratchedLady Emma has been scratenud for tl. ■ S'. Andrews’ Handicap. A Suicide Mis McYicar died lust night from the result of injuries self inflicted.
Later. La ly Emma’s scratching is officially denied, but she is reported amiss.
