THE AUCKLAND-OAMARU MATCH. [Special to ‘‘ S.C. Times.”] Oamaeu, Nov. 27. The team arrived at Oamaru shortly after noon and the match was commenced at two o’clock. Buckland look Dufars place in the eleven. The wicket was not at all a good one. Robinson won the toss and put Oamaru in. Kneen and Sumpter were the first to go to the wickets, Buckland and Arneil .bowling. Maidens from each end were followed by Kneen cutting Buckland for two and Sumpter snicked a couple from Arneil. Bucklands’ next over produced three singles, and after two more maidens Sumpter drove Arneil for three, Kneen opened out at both bowlers, and 20 soon appeared, with no wickets down.
