TIMARU BOATING CLUB.
A few scratch races were held in the harbor on Saturday afternoon. There was a fresh breeze, and the sea was lively. The course was from a buoy midway between Dashing Rocks and the point of the breakwater, to a boat moored near the waterman’s steps. There were five races, and two boats, the Waiho and Waipu, competed. The Waiho proved herself victorious throughout.
