AUCKLAND v. DUNEDIN. [By Telegeaph.j Dunedin, Nor, 24. The match was commenced on a rather bumpy wicket, on the Caledonian Ground to-day. The, weather was lovely, but very few of the public turned out, only some £7 or £8 being taken at the gates. Andrews having hurt his side very badly, could not play, for the local team. The betting was greatly in favor of the visiting team, and judging from to-day’s play, the local team will have to play very well to avert a one-inning’s defeat.
