(GOLD MEDAL) For Quality and Variety of BISCUITS AND CAKES NEW ZEALAND INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITIONExtract pbom Jueoes’ Bepobt—- '* Messrs Aulsebrook and 00., exhibit no less than 30 distinct kinds of Biscuits ; the Samples were taken from the Firm’s ordinary Stock, and the crispness and bloom’ of the Biscuits were beyond comparison. They showed qualities which can only be obtained by those who - make it a study, and have a perfect knowledge of their trade. They also exhibited three samples, of their Canterbury Oakes—currant, citron,, and seed. The quality of this entire exhibit could hardly* be; surpassed; and one of the important requisites, viewed commercially, is that, taking qualities into consideration their goods do not exceed in price the English article. They, are well worthy of a certificate of Gold Medal.” WHOLESALE AGENT FOR TIMARU— W. E. WHITCOMBS. T AT THE

We have visited the bottling stores of Greenlees Brothers and have selected from the vats samples of their Lome Highland Whisky, and have subjected them to careful examination and analysis.. The samples, were pale, showing freedom from added colouring matter, very fragrant, mellow, and of pleasant flavour; in fact, they possessed all the characteristics of pure and well-matured Scotch Whisky of the first quality.
