NEW ZEALAND.
(Pee Pbhss Association.) Suicide. New Plymouth, Nov. 6. Constable Madigan, of Pungarehu, shot himself through the bead with a pistol this morning, at half past nine o’clock. Drowned in the River Kowai. Cheistohuech, Nov. 6. Robert Parker, market gardener, Leithfield, was drowned while endeavoring to cross the river Kowai, on horseback, while it was in flood.
