SUDDEN DEATH OF CAPTAIN WHITE.
A shocking incident happened this morning at the E.M. Court, daring the hearing of the case against the seamen of the Gerd Heye. Captain White, the well known sail-maker of the Main South Road, while seated among the spectators in Court, was suddenly observed to fall into the arms of those around him. Ho was promptly removed to the open air, and water applied and every effort made to sustain him pending the arrival of a doctor. He remained insensible, slightly frothing at the mouth, but before the arrival of medical aid, the bystanders knew that he had expired. Dr Hogg on coming in at onco pronounced him dead, presumably from apoplectic seizure. lie was removed to his residence, and an inquest will be held.
