Mails close at the Chief Post Office Timaru, for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under Friday, Oct. 27.
For Australian Colonies, and United Kingdom, per Kotomahana, at 4 p.m. For Northern Ports of New Zealand per Omapere, at 6 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Hawea, at 2;50 p.m. The Omaha will leave Auckland for Chatham Isladds on the 4th November.. (Signed) Ed. Cook, Chief Postmaster.
