Little Jack, from the same stables, appears most in favor with the public, however, and has been backed for thousands at 100 to 10. 100 to 12 is taken freely about Sting, and he is backed for thousands at 9 to 1. Mr Rouse, his owner, offers £IOOO level that he beats both Little Jack and' Mistake. For the Derby, Navigator is now firmer.than over at 6to 4. About Segenboe 100 to 25 is taken and offered. Melbourne, Oct. 26 “ Asmodous ’’ Tips are: Sting for the Cup. and Navigator for the Derby. “ Augur’s ” tips are : Sweet William of Prometheus for the Cup and Navigator for the Derby.
