SUTHERLANDS.
The Sutherlands people are setting to work vigorously, to obtain a school.: The following committee was elected at' a recent meeting, at the'house of Mr Sutherland ir-Messrs Cleland, Bishop.' Shepard, Gammie, Sutherland, Jones, ’ and Mathews; and it was resolved,that Mr Munro’s offer of about four acres pilaud at £lO per acre, situate at the junction of Robinson’s road and the railway line, be recommended, to the Education Board for a. site. Mr Bishop was elected chairman of the committee.
