BOROUGH NOMINATIONS.

[To the Editor.]

Sib,—-I desire to explain, through the medium of your paper, that I was deputed to hand in the nomination papers of candidates for the South-east Ward of the Borough of Timaru, this day—my own and those of three others; and that, through an informality in the signature of my seconder, I was told that my nomination could not be received- I deem it my duty to_ make this explanation for the information of my supporters.—l am &c., A, 0. Or. Stone* September 4th, 1882.
