OTtnv The growing success of the READYMADE BRANCH of our business has necessitated this outlay of capital, and it being the FIRST INDUSTRY of the kind attempted in South Canterbury, wj hope the support which will be derived therefrom will prove a financial success, The large quantities of Factory Made Boots forwarded from Christchurch, Dunedin, and other large centres of population has for some time past attracted our,attention, and the many thousands of pounds sent out of the District to these places for Boots and Shoes would, be more advantageous to the District if the labour was employed here.
