The Australian cricketers commenced a match to-day against," an eleven of Somersetshire, at Taunton. The weather was fine, and there was a large attendance of spectators. The visitors went in first and scored rapidly, making 245 runs before they conld be disposed of The principal scorers wereßannerman, caught, 50 ; McDonnell, bowled, 48 ; and Blackham, not out* 43. After the usual adjournment the Home team commenced their first innings, and when time was called had scored 86 for the loss of five wickets.
