Cetewayo* London, August 14.
Cetewayo,late King of the Zulu tribes, who recently arrived from the Cape, visited Osborne to-day and was granted an audience by the Queen. It is rumoured that he has been reinstated in his former position, from which he was deposed by the British authorities at the close of the last Zulu war. The report, however, requires confirmation. Industrial Exhibition* An Exhibition of various products of Irish industry was formally opened to-day at Dublin, and was largely attended. [“ Abgub ” Special.] The Prince of Wales Indisposed* London, August 15, 6. a.m. The Prince of Wales’ medical advisers have ordered him to take a trip to Germany. (Pee Cable to Press Association.) [“ Age ’’ Special.] Murder in Ireland* London, August 14, 5.55 a.m. A constable has been murdered at Parsonstown, Ireland. Leagues in England* Numerous laborers’ meetings have been held throughout the country in favor of a conference at Manchester. Two hundred English branches of the Land League have been established. The Harvest* The English ‘harvest is the best within the present decade, and the weather is favorable.

The British Eesident has been instructed to refuse to recognise the Boor’s annexation of native territory. MadagascarA French naval demonstration is expected at Madagascar, as a protest against the Queen forbidding the sale of land to foreigners. This is attributed to English intrigues.
Dublin in FermentThere are enormous crowds of visitors in Dublin, and trouble is feared. The troops are confined in the barracks.
