Mails close at the Chief Post Office Timaru, for the following places (subject to the. necessary alterations) as under Thursday, Aug. 10, : For Northern Ports of New Zealand per Botorna, at 6 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Penguin, at 2.50 f5Tm. For the'United Kingdom, via San Franoisco, the Continent of Europe, America, Africa, the Sandwich Islands, and Mediterranean Ports, as follows: Money orders, registered letters and newspapers at 1.30 p.m. Ordinary letters at'2 30 p.m. • Late fee letters at the Chief Post-office till 2.50 p.m., and at the Bailway Travelling Post-office Mail Tan (Northern Express Train) till 3.20 p.m. (Signed) Bn.
